Almost Thanksgiving...

It was so nice to be able to sleep late this morning and now I'm sitting here in front of the television answering emails in my pajamas. I honestly can't remember the last time I slept until 8 o'clock in the morning. How sad is that?

I was so excited to be able to watch Live with Regis and Kelly this morning; however, there was a huge chemical explosion in Danvers and that "breaking news" has taken over pretty much every television station. While I understand this is a huge deal - but they just keep repeating the same stuff over and over again. All I wanted was to be able to watch Regis and Kelly!!!

My body is hurting this morning. I went to the gym yesterday before I left town for my PT appointment. I did the fifteen minute power abs class and was DYING. The girl who does it on Tuesdays is hard core! Then I went to the Stott Pilates class for fourty-five minutes and was dying again. I had a killer ab workout yesterday! THEN I went to my personal training session with Jaimie, my new trainer, and she gave me a series of exercises to do on this foam roller that is absolutely amazing! Then I went to PT and Mary Ann beat the crap out of my calf muscle and my foot. My entire calf is bruised all the way up along the inner side of it.

I'm not sure what I'll do as far as a workout goes today because I don't have access to a gym back here and I can't run yet. Key word being "yet" for running. My long term goal is to start training for the Bay State marathon this summer because I'll actually have the time and at that point my foot should be completely healed. May 15th will be the official training start date but until then, the trainer has given me some great cardio advice to keep my cardio capacity up so that when I do start running, it will only be muscular training rather than cardio. I'll almost have a "leg up" on the training. But, we'll see...

Anyways, I'm going to get back to doing some actual work here. I'm going over to Linda's this afternoon to bake for Thanksgiving :-)
